Seminar reflection

I thought the Seminar on the Christmas truce went pretty well. We discusses a lot about War, governments demonizing the enemy and issues about World War I. I liked this Seminar because Hitler and the Holocaust was not mention as much as it usually is in Seminars. When anyone talks about War or genocide they automatically start talking about Hitler and Nazi Germany. It is true that the Holocaust is the most famous genocide that has ever happened but it gets me angry that there have been so many genocides and everyone can only compare genocides today to the Holocaust. The Seminar went pretty well that I finally got to explain this in the seminar. One of the key thing we discussed in the Seminar was how there probably wouldn’t be able to have another truce like the Christmas truce because of technology, language, religion and gorilla tactics.
